Green mountains are always there, and green water flows endlessly. A beautiful ecological picture unfolds slowly. In this painting, industrial parks, as
spaces for production, manufacturing, and operation, are not only important engines and innovation hubs for economic development, but also the main
sources of energy consumption and carbon emissions. However, industrial parks are facing multiple challenges, and the contradiction between the urgency
of low-carbon transformation and insufficient preparation is gradually becoming prominent. The driving force of parks in low-carbon development is also
insufficient.
We often say, 'Green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver.' How can we share the beauty of work and life among the
green mountains and clear waters? Siemens believes that its core approach is to follow sustainable development, achieve digital and low-carbon
transformation and upgrading, and actively embrace new quality productivity. And the new quality productivity is essentially the sustainable productivity
of green technology, which provides us with powerful tools to achieve this goal.
With the power of digitization, lay a solid foundation for the intelligent operation of the park
Guided by new quality productivity, Siemens is implementing the path of smart and low-carbon development in industrial parks with practical and feasible
digital solutions as the cornerstone.
Siemens Energy Carbon Management Platform+Smart Park Management Platform
Considering that industrial parks often have multiple systems and data sources, achieving seamless integration of these data is a major challenge. Taking
the integration of IT and OT technologies as an opportunity, Siemens has launched the Smart Park Management Platform SCX, which covers numerous
functional modules such as energy management, asset operation and maintenance, work order operation and maintenance, building automation, access
management, and even investment management. It also integrates fire and security systems to achieve comprehensive data exchange and sharing. In
addition, with the help of AI technology and big data analysis, Siemens Smart Park Management Platform SCX can intelligently process data and provide
users with accurate and dynamic data charts.
Relying on a strong R&D team, rich practical experience, and hardware and software foundation, Siemens adopts agile development and low code
technology, committed to providing customers with lightweight and easy-to-use solutions. In order to provide more customers with convenient access to
Siemens' solutions, the Siemens Smart Park Management Platform SCX has successfully launched the Siemens Xcelerator platform and launched a standard
version product, which also supports online purchase.
Fission from 1 to N, replicating successful experiences to more industrial parks
In the process of promoting the digital transformation of industrial parks, we clearly see that digitalization is not a game of "lone heroes", but requires
working hand in hand with numerous ecological partners. The first low-carbon smart park project of Siemens in China, the Changshu High tech Zone MOBO
Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park, jointly built by Changshu High tech Zone, Siemens, and Suzhou Land, is a model for practicing this concept.
Changshu High tech Zone MOBO Collaborative Innovation Industrial Park
In this project, by deploying the smart energy carbon management platform Smart ECX, the industrial park has achieved real-time monitoring of
energy consumption data, clear carbon emission footprints, controllable energy waste points, and sustainable energy management and control systems.
In terms of building control, smart building automation systems intelligently manage lighting, air conditioning, curtains, and other equipment in office areas
to minimize energy consumption. Thanks to the overall solution of Siemens low-carbon smart park and the application of various energy control systems, the
expected energy consumption and carbon emissions of the park have been reduced by about 45%, and the emergency response speed has been improved
by about 35% while reducing the configuration of property and security personnel in the park.

Information such as operation and energy consumption data is clear at a glance
Siemens is replicating these successful smart low-carbon solutions to more industrial parks, achieving a "fission" from 1 to N. At present, Siemens has also
planned and delivered the Siemens Smart Park Management Platform SCX for the Taicang Zhihui Valley Smart Park. These successful cases are like sparks
constantly growing like wildfires. In the future, Siemens will work with more ecological partners to provide replicable and rapidly deployable solutions
turning the vision of zero carbon parks into reality.
Full lifecycle solution to assist in the diversified transformation of the park
It is worth noting that there is no universal standard answer for the green transformation of the park. Siemens provides end-to-end solutions throughout
the entire lifecycle, including consulting, planning, design, project implementation, and other services, to meet the customized needs and challenges
brought by the richness of digital application scenarios in industrial parks.
Firstly, for industrial parks that are about to embark on zero carbon transformation, Siemens can systematically plan the spatial layout, infrastructure
construction, and ecological environment of the park from a global perspective. For old industrial parks, Siemens strives to achieve compatibility between
old and new systems within a controllable range of technology and cost.
Secondly, in promoting the low-carbon transformation of the park, Siemens advocates prioritizing the use of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaics
and hydropower. Digital technology is a key means to enhance energy transparency and optimize energy use, providing customers with more accurate
energy optimization recommendations.
Furthermore, building a comprehensive digital system is crucial. By integrating data from various systems and creating a one-stop management platform
the level of digital management will be further improved, reducing labor costs, improving equipment efficiency, and reducing the frequency of failures.
Rockmeisen (Jinan) Factory
Only by combining knowledge and action can one travel far. Siemens not only provides end-to-end solutions throughout the entire lifecycle to meet customized needs, but also puts this concept into practice. From manufacturing factories to smart parks, Siemens' practices are flourishing everywhere. Siemens provides a full range of vertical zero carbon smart factory technology solutions at the first zero carbon smart factory in Shandong Province - the Rockmeisen (Jinan) factory, realizing load scheduling for factory production and office energy consumption, coordinated control of photovoltaic power generation and electricity consumption, carbon emission data analysis and monitoring, etc. After the completion of the factory, it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 600 tons annually through the construction of new energy and the application of digital scenarios, achieving 100% carbon offset from renewable energy. In the Zhonglian Smart Industry City in Hunan Province, Siemens provides the Smart ECX Professional Edition smart energy and carbon management platform, which can meet customized needs and lay a solid foundation for the digital and low-carbon transformation of the industrial city in energy management.
The road to transformation may be long and arduous, but it is approaching. Siemens will continue to uphold the spirit of low-carbon practitioners,
actively promote the Siemens China Zero Carbon Pioneer Program, continuously explore the sustainable development path of industrial parks, provide
zero carbon smart solutions for more customers, and make green and low-carbon the foundation of high-quality development of industrial parks.
