Technology empowerment is the core of JD Logistics. JD has introduced a large number of automation and unmanned technologies in its warehousing

system. Unmanned warehouses use automatic sorting machines, automatic packaging machines, robot handling vehicles, etc. These technological

innovations have greatly improved logistics efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced user experience.

1、 Unmanned warehousing: Robot guided AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) is responsible for the handling of goods in the warehouse; The automated

operation of AGV relies on multiple sensors to perceive the surrounding environment, locate and navigate. Lidar is used to scan the surrounding

environment and create two-dimensional or three-dimensional maps of the environment; Visual sensors and ultrasonic sensors are used to capture

environmental views and measure the distance between AGV and surrounding objects; Sensors play a crucial role in AGVs, with capabilities such as

autonomous navigation, environmental perception, obstacle avoidance, and safe operation, ensuring that AGVs can efficiently, accurately, and safely

execute tasks. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is used to control various action instructions of AGV, such as start, stop, acceleration, deceleration

etc. A real-time operating system can ensure that the AGV control system has real-time and reliable performance during operation.

2、 The drone delivery system has demonstrated tremendous capabilities in remote areas and emergency situations, which is an important innovation.

GPS provides precise location data for drones; IMU controls the state and flight stability of unmanned aerial vehicles; LIDAR can help drones avoid

obstacles and risks in complex environments; Visual sensors enhance the autonomous navigation and task execution capabilities of drones. Of course

the core components of a drone are composed of a flight control system, autopilot, communication module, and power system.

The flight control system integrates sensor data such as IMU, GPS, and barometer to control the real-time flight trajectory of the drone

The autopilot is responsible for executing drone flight tasks, autonomously flying according to preset routes and instructions, and can make real-time

adjustments during the flight process.

The computer vision processor recognizes target paths and obstacles through image data obtained from sensors.

Communication module

Drones need to exchange data and communicate in real-time with ground control stations and other equipment. The wireless point communication

module is used for data transmission and remote control command communication with the ground control station; LTE/5G mode fast is used for

long-distance data transmission and real-time video streaming transmission; The satellite communication module can provide stable communication

support in remote or areas with poor signal coverage.

The power system directly affects the flight performance and endurance of the drone. Usually, brushless DC motors are used to provide efficient and

high thrust power output, driving the rotation of the drone propeller. The electronic speed controller precisely adjusts the flight attitude and speed

of the drone by controlling the speed of the motor.

The Human Machine Interface (HMI) displays the flight status of the drone for real-time information such as food flow and navigation maps. The drone

can be remotely operated through a remote control for manual flight control or task adjustment. It is also equipped with a mobile application that can

be monitored through a phone or tablet.

3、 Cold chain logistics uses various advanced technologies for fresh products to ensure temperature control throughout the process from warehousing

to distribution. The temperature monitoring and management system uses temperature sensors in transportation vehicles, cold storage and warehousing

facilities to monitor temperature in real time and ensure that products are always within the set temperature range. The data recorder that records

temperature data will be traced and reviewed after transportation is completed.

Automated warehousing technology: Applying automated storage and retrieval equipment and robots in cold storage to improve storage and retrieval

efficiency, reduce the opening time of cold storage doors, and maintain stable temperature inside the cold storage.

Internet of Things technology: By connecting temperature sensors, data recorders, and cold chain management systems to the Internet of Things

intelligent monitoring and management of cold chain logistics can be achieved.
